Deodorant not working anymore? 5 hacks to make the stink go away

I get it. You've been using your deodorant for a while and suddenly you're feeling stinky. What gives? Did their formula change? Not likely.

It's far more likely it's a habit that has caught up to you. Or, even better, your body is getting better and emptying out the trash it was accumulating and that's the stink.

Here's a few easy tips to do on a daily basis or even just periodically to keep your body stink-free.

1) Scrub-a-dub-dub!

Do you use a washcloth or sponge when you soap up your skin? *Add it to your routine now!*

Whether you soap up your body with your hand or a sponge, the friction of the sponge or wash cloth rubs away bacteria that is hell-bent on sticking around and eating up whatever you sweat out.

We love to get a good lather with the Natural Sea Sponge and the Body Wash in spicy or herbal scents to aid is washing away smelly bacteria.

2) Clay detox anyone?

Bentonite clay is amazing at pulling out impurities in the skin. Use the Pit Mask, specially made with bentonite clay for the arm pit,  to help the glands in your armpit release any build up of impurities it has been storing there.

3) Release the smell through your feet

Have you ever heard of detoxing foot baths? We love them! They get pretty disgusting at the end of a 30 minute session. Tons of heavy metals and other materials can be pulled from the feet with ionizers.

If you need a quicker fix, and aren't allergic to shellfish, try a detox pad at night and sleep while your body releases the smell out the feet. Remember to give the feet a good scrub in the morning!

4) Take the green...pill

Spirulina is a fabulous and inexpensive fix for anyone who's smelling all over their body, not just the armpits. It is a binder to capture the impurities the liver is releasing, so you don't sweat it out and can urinate it instead.

5) Coffee anyone?

Rather than brew up a cup of joe, try making an enema. We've seen it work fabulous for stimulating the body to work efficiently at getting rid of toxins that cause unpleasant odors. It's also great to give an energy boost one those toxins are out of the body. So skip the cup and try using coffee at, well, the other end.
